Description by publisher
FCL (Files Compare via List) uses a list (reference file) to find new, missing (including folders), or changed files. Examples: Was anything added to your system such as spyware (ex. keylogger), a "trojan", a "hijacker", etc.? Your system crashed and Windows won't bootup, perhaps due to a missing file/s? ScanDisk found lost clusters or errors. After a "fix", did you loose any files? As a security tool, FCL doesn't need a "signatures" database.
