Using the Xceed Backup Library adds value to your application by
protecting it against lost or corrupted data files, end-user mistakes
and hard drive crashes. A built-in, intelligent job scheduler lets you
easily set up scheduled jobs for even the most complex backup schemes.
The library manages the backup files, which can span multiple media.
The files can be compressed, labeled, and can be deleted by the
retention management system when they get too old. Separate catalog
files are managed by the library, so your application can easily find
specific version(s) of files that need to be restored, and then request
the required media if necessary.
